If a good depreciates (amortizes over time), then why do antiques cost a lot? 10Points BA after 6hours?
I know because they might be rare or collectible or what not, so can someone explain this behavior economically?
Things detriorate over time and wear out from use. As they wear out they decline in value: depriciation. It time an item becomes worthless and is disgarded. If a few items are kept in better conditon they will not deteriorate or wear out, so as that item is disgarded the ones kept become rarer and thus more valuable.
