What do you think about....?
I am having a small outdoor wedding in a pavilion with about 50-75 people. I have been looking in to DJs but they are so expensive. The pavilion has a place to have music piped around the building. Should we just create our own playlist or what?
I mean, is that tacky? It would save about 500-700 dollars.
How would we arrange the father daughter dance, etc?
it's not tacky to diy your music. you can make a playlist on your ipod and just designate someone to announce the special dances, or rent a microphone from a party store or music store to announce things
just make sure all the songs are good quality and don't have abrubt endings or other tech dificulites.
also check on craigslist for djs. under services. sometimes they list there and are super cheap.
