How do you know if a perfume is just old lady smelling, or its expired?
I bought a vial of Creed perfume (really expensive brand) on ebay and now I'm putting it on and I smell like an old lady. Is this because old ladies wear really expensive perfume or because they wear expired perfume? Someone help, I cannot tell the difference.
Perfume, when it has expired, can smell like a lot of things--most of them not pleasant. Some perfumes expire and lose their scent entirely, others get a very weakened scent. Some expire and smell rotten, extremely bitter, smell like decay, or have a strong sharp alcohol smell to them. In short, no, old ladies do not wear expired perfume. Why would they?
