I Bullet For My Valentine getting old?
Is it just me or Bullet For My Valentine getting old? It's just the same stuff over and over again, in my honest opinion. It just seems that they're lacking diversity, with the exception of "Alone".
And this is coming from a hardcore BFMV fan.
Honestly, if you listen closely to the riffs, the lyrics, and overall just the songs themselves, it's not really the same.
I have heard some of the same notes in the songs, but that's because some songs are set in the same key and played in the same scale as some of the others that they do. I was listening to some of their songs today that I could tell easily were in the same key, and actually played in the exact same scale and position on the guitar, but they didn't sound the same because of how they were played.
Basically, my point is that while they may sound the same, it's only because they play in mostly the same tuning on the guitar for the majority of theirs songs, and play in the same scales/keys sometimes. If your ear is trained enough, you can tell that every song is actually different in it's own way, one way or another.
So honestly, I don't think it's old, because I think it's awesome music, and that each album has it's own feel.
