A sum of money that you owe is debt. Who owes someone is called a debtor. Most debtors to a certain level have sleepless nights. The effect of this is health hazardous. A major factor that determines success is to get rid of debt. Pensively, a debt brings about old age as one who smiles looks younger. Doctors said that from a research that a large number of people dies yearly of psychological problems. A debt leads to psychological illness.
The effects of debt(s) on debtors are equivalent to ruin ones life. Debts brings set backwardness, set backwardness is the act of limiting oneself to what one is capable of doing. A debt brings about social inferiority. Debt steals one joy. Debt brings humiliations. Debts retard s progress: because of debt one's success is tied down. It ruins destiny by controlling ones future (access to life opportunities).
Sometimes ago, I borrowed from my friend the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars ($125) to enhance mobility in my baby soap production business. I bought an old bike (3rd hand). In my effort to repair and maintain the bike my capital liquidated. Worries of indebtness starts growing as the days gone by and my eyes contacts with Donald keeps reminding me of the money. Gradually, I starts dodging Donald, could not communicate ideas conveniently whenever we meet each other.
One unfortunate period came when Donald starts requesting for his money and I had it not. I that have my respect before start losing it. All effort to payback proved abortive. Until one day, when a great opportunity came my way fetching me the sum of one hundred and forty one dollars profit. I paid in the whole $141 into Donald's account to restore my dignity. Henceforth I became released of the burden and had rest of mind with freedom to self employment.
Do you know that freedom from indebtness brings about self employment even if you are an employee? When you are a debtor, you don't control your spending instead your spending controls you. You don't have the freedom to invest your salary nor plan ahead.
To get rid of debt, you must foresee the nearest future. You must take advantage of any reasonable amount of money that comes your way. Either to pay install mentally or gather up for install mental payment. You must foresee the future of letdown to plan ahead of it. You must be friendly to who you owe. A lot of people are victimized of indebtness because we scare away from whom we owe. To cure this: make yourself available to him/her always. These are done by:
Greetings: greeting who we owe anytime we come in contact with him makes him feel we are available!
Through phone calls: this is another aspect that makes him feel you are concerned about him. Just give him a phone call once a while.
Be humble: be humble as arrogance during indebtness leads to destruction.
When you are doing all these, you restore your friendliness with whom you owe.
