I'm thinking of sending postcards to my relatives and friends..just so they know that I do remember them..but I wonder if people still appreciate postcard these days..What say you? Do you appreciate it even though it's just a piece of paper (sentimental value perhaps)? I don't want the cards to end up in the bin but I can't think a better way of communicating with them and gifts to 50+ is [quite] impossible..

People LOVE getting handwritten mail, including postcards. It's a great and easy way to let people know that you're thinking about them. I write to my nieces and nephews regularly - especially since I don't get to see them often and though email would be easier and faster - the handwritten note is tangible and something you can save, and treasure years later.
