How do you find the length of a side of a square using the area?
I have this math problem and it says to find the length of a side of a square using the area I only want serious responses the equation is A=100 yd squared
To find the area of a rectangle, you multiply length times width. In a square, length and width are equal. So, you are multiplying x and x.
If x*x=A, than all you have to do is find the square root of A to find the value of x (the length. Or width. One side of the square.)
